As the worldwide recession continues to take its toll on company budgets all over the world, software providers are coming up with new customer friendly pricing plans to help fit into company budgets.

Traditional rigid pricing structures have been replaced with more flexibility, allowing room to negotiate with companies on prices in order to help both companies and ERP providers make a deal. This changing economy has made it a buyer’s market with vendors being much more accommodating to the pricing needs of their newer customers.

Pricing models have changed and support for products has increased. All this has been done to reflect the changing demands of software buyers. However, the question still remains in the future when the economy improves. Whether or not these discounted prices negotiated now will still be effective in the future is still a question yet to be answered.

But, one thing is for sure, pricing and pricing options have become much more flexible recently to help close more deals and generate more revenue for ERP software providers.
