Unit4 Mobile ERP App Supports Dynamic Reporting

ERP and financial management software provider, UNIT4, has launched its first mobile application that will expand the dynamic reporting capabilities of the Agresso Business World solution to the iPhone and the iPad.

With this mobile app, nearly two million Agresso Business World users will be able to access and query information from within the ERP platform. As a result, these users will have full control of their organization’s data and processes regardless of location.

Ton Dobbe, VP Product at UNIT4, highlighted that the Agresso Reporting mobile app differs from other reporting applications as it allows for dynamic querying of any information without extra configuration. Standard solutions available on the market are often pre-defined and restricted to a simple set of hand-coded reports, which limits the reach of the ERP solution when mobile.

UNIT4 relied on the Agresso VITA architecture to provide the foundation for its iPad/iPhone reporting capabilities. In taking this approach, the company was able to ensure that reports and analysis accessed through one of these mobile devices were always in sync with the organization’s true business model and structure.
