Ekro Upgrades Magic Software uniPaaS-based ERP System

Ekro has made a strategic decision to upgrade and expand its custom-built enterprise resource planning solution by using Magic Software’s uniPaaS application platform. This change will allow Ekro to better address global supply chain expansion.

Ekro, which is part of the VanDrie group, is the largest veal producer in the world. Ekro has specialized in veal production since 1952. They process around 350,000 calves a year.

IT Manger of Ekro, Jan Dirk van Delden says if it weren’t for Magic Software’s uniPaaS solution, they would have never been able to produce the high quantity of top quality veal products the company now offers.

Dirk van Delden shared that due to the sensitive nature of their production process and with the time constraints involved in shipping veal, it was crucial that their ERP system supported their business seamlessly, while taking into account the new regulations and market complications.
